Function

The Ondo State Budget Office is responsible for coordinating the State’s budget planning and management process, including the preparation of the Annual Budget, Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), Medium-Term Sector Strategies (MTSS) in collaboration with Development Planning Dept, Economic Planning and Coordinating Office, budget call circulars, budget performance reports and Citizens’ Budget. The Office ensures that public resources are strategically allocated in line with Government policies and development priorities, while promoting fiscal discipline, transparency, accountability, effective budget implementation, performance monitoring and citizen participation in the budget process.
